The Asian Jade Society Annual Dinner was held at Jing Fong last Friday.
CICF supports the Asian Jade Society. Their mission is
- Promote tolerance and understanding of the different cultures that make up the NYPD Asian Jade Society
- Teaching cultural diversity, tolerance and understanding of the different ethnicities, we create a strong bond and working relationship between the Police Department and the Asian Communities
- To recruit talented, multilingual and educated Asians to increase the number of Asian Police Officers in the NYPD, so that they may represent and assist their communities by working in those Precincts
- Design, devise and apply effective programs that will facilitate education of the public in such critical areas as officer safety, community police relations, crime prevention and personal safety with an emphasis on Children's Issues
