Christina Seid has served on a number of committees and boards in the Chinatown and greater New York City area.  Some of these include:

Asian Women In Business
Founded in 1995, Asian Women In Business (AWIB) is the only non-profit, tax-exempt organization in the country with the primary mission of assisting Asian women entrepreneurs.

Greater Chinatown Community Association
Greater Chinatown Community Association (GCCA) betters the well-being of the Chinatown community within New York City through unique, individualized program services. Established in 1972, GCCA has long since been a pioneer and innovator in the provision of resources and assistance.

Chinatown Youth Initiatives
The mission of Chinatown Youth Initiatives (CYI) is to empower New York City youth with the knowledge and skills necessary to address the needs of Chinatown, Asian Americans, and other underrepresented communities. By providing a safe and supportive environment, CYI works to build a legacy of leaders who strengthen awareness of self-identity and community issues through project initiatives.

Hamilton Madison House
Hamilton-Madison House is a voluntary, non-profit settlement house in the Two Bridges/Chinatown area of Manhattan’s Lower East Side dedicated to improving the quality of life in its community and beyond.

Coalition of Asian Pacific Americans
CAPA organizes the annual Asian/Pacific American (A/PA) Heritage Festival which is a community festival with music, performances, food, and family fun.

New York Cares
New York Cares is now the city's leading volunteer organization, bringing vital volunteer support to thousands of nonprofit agencies, public schools, and other deserving organizations. Today's volunteers share our founders' vision that we all have a role to play in making our city a better place.
